Instructions for Shooting Yacht Walk Through Videos

  1. If you are using a camera (DSLR / GoPro) please ensure that you have an external microphone connected so that you can hear the person conducting the walk through.
  2. If you are using a mobile phone, shoot with the phone horizontal, shooting with the phone vertically will result in footage that will be difficult for formatting.
  3. If you have access to a stabilizer for video (DJI Osmo Mobile is an inexpensive option) use it.
  4. If you do not have access to a stabilizer have the person holding the camera or phone walk smoothly so as not to have jerky footage.
  5. Keep background music from speakers off.
  6. Shoot the video in 2 sections. Exterior first and then Interior.
  7. The walk through should not be longer than 30 min.

Instructions for Editing Yacht Walk Though Videos

  1. After shooting, edit the interior and exterior videos together into 1 video.
  2. Do not add any music or audio other than the person’s voice conducting the walk through. If your video has background music, we cannot guarantee that YouTube will allow the video to stay online due to copyright constraints.
